Can I install AstroLawn® myself?

Yes, in fact we recommend getting your own crew to install any area under 1,500 square feet. Just follow our simple installation instructions. Most materials needed to install the synthetic grass can be purchased from your local hardware or home improvement store.

How do you keep AstroLawn® clean?

Simply treat AstroLawn® like regular grass. Use a rake or blower to remove leaves. When animals think it's real grass, simply scoop up the mess and wash the area with a garden hose. We'll send you a maintenance manual that will help you keep your AstroLawn® looking soft and gorgeous.

Will AstroLawn® fade?

AstroLawn® is made of Polyethylene, one of the softest yet toughest fibers in the world. So it won't fade. After many years, AstroLawn® will look as lush and green as when it was first installed.

Is the sand or rubber in-fill really necessary?

We strongly recommend using silica sand and/or granulated rubber in-fill when installing AstroLawn® infill products such as Classic Vegas, Inglewood, Twin Cities and Everglades. It helps achieve the truest grass-like look and feel. Since Classic Vegas is a slit film fiber system, we also strongly recommend brushing the fibers during installation. If you prefer not to use an infill, we recommend using our non-filled systems such as Newport Bluffs and Catalina Heights.

How long will AstroLawn® last?

Your new AstroLawn® should last up to 10 to 15 years. Years of research and development prove this is a long-lasting product. After all, we've been in the synthetic turf business for over 40 years.

Does AstroLawn® have a warranty?

Yes!  AstroLawn® comes with a 5 to 10 year warranty against fading depending which product you chose for your lawn.

How will the AstroLawn® turf be shipped to me?

Turf will be delivered by UPS or Freighline depending on the size of the roll(s). If shipped by Freightline, you will be contacted by Freightline to schedule delivery. We will also e-mail you the tracking information when you order is shipped. It is beneficial to contact the freightline as soon as possible to schedule a delivery time for your order. The customer is responsible for receiving and unloading the roll(s) off the truck.
